Pinder 69-118

preview161

In the Pinder reading on page 75 it says “the ideology of male domination: the connection between sexual possession and murder as an assertion of absolute enjoyment.” Can this idea still be applied today? Especially in our society today, male domination happens. However not in ways so rash as murder, but what are the main ways? On the same page it says “the case of artists on the availability of studio models for sexual as well as professional services..”  Where these models aware that they were being used for art as well as sexually? That doesn’t seem right to me…or was this part of the slavery? If that’s the case it reminds me of sex trafficking which is very relevant to our society today.
